I'm already back from the camp for a few weeks already. As I have promised, I have to post a post about the English Camp. To tell it in a short way, it was SUPERBLY AWESOME. It's a MILLION times better than last year's camp. Well, as I mentioned in my last post. I hoped that this year's camp will be awesome. And yes it is : )
I woke up at 6 in the morning at 8 July 2011. Kinda lazy at that time. Had to fetch my mom to work. Well, I reached school at around 7.10 a.m. And I saw Meh there. Thank God I was not the first one. Hahah : D She brought 3 bags! LOL. I brought only 2 : D hahah. I'm not trying to perli you, Meh : D
It was so boring I started to take my earplugs out and start listening to songs. Then, people started coming. I almost fell asleep as I slept at 1 something and woke up at 6. LAZY. Then, teacher Kamila came. We registered and got our caps. Then, the bus came at around 8.20 something. I was so sleepy that I had my hoodie cover my face and I wanted to sleep. But, they were SO noisy. So, I had to put on my earplugs. I was actually half asleep and half awake until Meh suddenly told me that she wanted to switch places cuz she wants to talk to Dahrany. Okay. I sat next to the window. No biggy. Suddenly, Bonda came. And pulled off my jacket! And walked away laughing. Damn you, bonda. I'm gonna take revenge. One day. And finally we reached the resort at around 1 1/2 hour later. Which was around 10. I don't think that it was a long journey as I was sleeping most of the time XD
So, we saw the resort. And I was like WTH. This place? -__-"
A van brought our bags there. Thank God. We don't have to carry them. Well, we passed by a river. It was kinda nice. And some camping sites. Thank God we don't have to sleep there. I can imagine the hotness in that tent. Imagine if bugs enter them. Gross. and HOT.
So, they just 'dumped' our bags in a hall. a hall with only 1 damn wall fan. Hell, it was hot.
Then, they let us to get into our dorm. There were 7 double-decker beds. Which means there will be 14 people in our dorm. And I can only see 2 fans in it. Yup 14 people with only 2 damn fans. hotlikehell. Then after leaving our stuffs there, me and Meh took our MC scripts to show Teacher Zuriati. She helped us a lot. So, it was okay. Then, we had our first activity. But, the teachers had to separate us into groups of 5 first. So, I was in the same group with Avvi, my bro :). Gunesh. Afifah. and Intan :)
They were all really good group members. We cooperated really well. They were all awesome :) We were in the 1st group. Well, at least I got 2 of my friends in my group. If not, it will be a totally awkward situation between us. But, kak Intan actually brought all of us together. She's a cute girl :) She had already thought of the name of our group --> Exotic Cliques. Sounds awesome, kan? :D Our motto was 'Strive for success' I think. -.-"
I forgot :D. So, we had to present our group logo and motto. Well, our drawing sucks. A LIL' Kak Intan's drawing was AWESOME. She is a really good artist :). After that, we were the last group to present. Group 9 was the first. haha :D
Awesome. So, we sat back and relax. Until group number 3. I just helped to hold the paper high up in the air. haha. Avvi did all the talking :D Then, we had our lunch. I was so hungryy. Well. Food was not bad. Then, we got rest time until 2. Which was around 1 1/2 hours. Awesome. After lunch, we got to rest. So, I climbed up the double-decker bed and started chatting with my friends. Suddenly, I started to sweat like hell. Yup. It was SUPER hot. Damn hot. -__-" Now, I appreciate every single fan in my house. LOL. Then, we went to that damn hall again. Teacher told us that we are gonna walk to a better hall. Which is a bit further. But I think it's kinda worth it. So, I went there with my school bag. With my pencil box, note book, file and WATER. If I didn't bring water there, I'll have to wait till around dinner time. Pheww. Thank God I brought it there. Then, we had to create a poem and recite it. I was like WTH. I don't even know how to write a poem and you're asking me to recite it. AS IF. Then, the teachers said that we can like create a song. With the music but with our own lyrics. The theme was environment. We started off kinda bad. Well, but we were okay. There's actually a secret behind it. LOL. Shh. I won't say anything. *zip-my-mouth* We decorated the paper with a few leaves on top. Hahah. Well, we actually glued it. And it kept on dropping. So, my job was to only hold the leaves together with the paper. And make sure it doesn't fall. LOL. The leaves were kinda sticky. So, after we present we have to stick our 'masterpiece' on the wall. Yeah. We had to like keep on sticking the leaves together. Hell, it was gross. Then, we continued watching the other groups. They were awesome : ) Some of them created songs. And most of them were Justin Bieber's songs. -,-" Eewww.
After that, we started the spelling bee competition. I knew I was gonna lose in the early stage. Firstly, the teachers gave the word 'cemetery'. I wrote 'cemetry'. A lot of them did the same too. LOL. So, it's like whenever you got the word wrongly, you're automatically disqualified from the competition. So, teacher gave us all another chance. And I got eliminated at the word 'committee'. I wrote 'commitee'. -,- Damn that letter 'T'. After that, it came to the finals where Simranjit and Kak Amyra competed and Simran won. Awesome.
After that, we went back. And took a bath. Suddenly, there was no water! WTH. Then I had to like fill water in a pail and bring it into the toilet. Some of them went to eat dinner first. I managed to bath with just a pail of water :O
After that, we went to take dinner together. We were among the last to take dinner. LOL. After that, we go to rest till around 8.15. So, me and MehMeh walked behind the dorm and up a small hill and sat there. The wind there was superb. I called mom. Thank God we got to bring our handphone everywhere. haha. I sat on the grass and talked. My friends were walking around taking pictures. I was sitting with Meh : )
Then, I helped the boys take a picture of them -,-" All those expensive phones came to my hands. WOW. Bangga gilaa. Then, continued talking on the phone. Then, started going down and played. Avvi threw some stuff at me. I thought it was Harvint. So, I whacked him. And he was like staring at me. I quickly run. I was like running the whole block. For 2 or 3 times. Damn. Started sweating. Then, we started our journey to go back to the hall. Along the way, it was damn shit dark. I forgot to take my torch. So, the boys took the torch. THANK GOD. And I was standing behind them. They knew I was a scardy cat, so, yeah, it's the best time to take revenge. Awesome kann, guys? I will take revenge too when the awesome time comes. When I walked in front, they'll be like "Suying, look behind" Then, they'll try to scare me. Damn every single one of you.
FINALLY, we reached the hall. Hell, I was happy when I saw lights. I quickly ran there and sat down. Then, they canceled the public speaking activity. And asked us to do a cheer. For the camp. Well, I knew there will be something like that. Haih. Then, we started like * clap hands and say* 1,2,1,2,1,2,3,3,2,3,2,3,2,1. English Camp is (SUPER FUN)<-- Avvi slide down. hahah. Well, last minute idea. Whattodo.
Then, the teachers asked us to do a drama. Well, we were given the theme 'honesty is the best policy'. Well, sounds easy. And it IS easy : D
So, Harvint's phone was with Avvi. So, we used it as the MAIN prop. The story line was like this. Afifah is having the phone as her new phone. Avvi and Intan were the bad guys. Avvi had to bang Afifah so that she'll fall and drop her phone. Then, she'll not realize it and took her books and papers away. Avvi and Intan will plan on selling the phone and sharing the money. Suddenly, Afifah and Gunesh will be searching for the phone all over and went to Avvi and Intan to ask them. They denied. And at last, Gunesh tried to call her phone and knew that it was in one of their pockets. And awesomeness happened. All of them started to show off her awesome drama skills. They did almost the whole thing spontaneously. They were superb. Seriously. Then, the other groups performed. They were awesome too. Especially Khartick. He was like... (I forgot the story line) Then like said sorry to his mom. And tears really fell down from his eyes. WOW. Hebat gilaaa. Then, after all those drama, we went back to the dining hall (?) LOL. And had some bread for supper. And went back to our dorms. Took our shirts. And change. And get ready for sleeping mode. But then, it was super damn shit hot I don't know how the hell I wanna sleep. I started to swear. I climbed up and more 'nice' words came out from my mouth. After that, Rishan, Priyaa, Shallini, and Chee asked me and Meh and I if we wanna join beds and sleep together. I mean like 6 person on 2 double-deckers. Okay. So, I went on top and dont wanna come down already. Scared. But then, I was half asleep on top. It was really hot that me and Meh saw 2 extra mattresses under our bed and quickly took them out and put it under the fan. And started sleeping. All of a sudden, some dumbos came to our dorm and like knock the door. We were like "Of course it's the boys. Don't need to open the door" Then I said. "What if it's the teachers?" I can say that. But my legs won't bring me to the door. So, Shallini went to open the door and they were like "Bluekkkkkk!!!!" and she went screaming cuz' they also had white powder on their face. They also took a video of her. LOL. Then I went to sleep PEACEFULLY.
The next morning, I woke up with the others around 6. I can't believe that one day just passed like that and I'm gonna go back home that afternoon. Well, we went to the bathroom and changed to this year's English Camp shirt. Which is light blue in colour. Then, I brushed my teeth. And accidentally dropped my shirt which which was last years english camp shirt. And it was wet. I started to pack a bit. But had to bring my black bag along as I knew I'll need LOTS of water. Scared if I'll get dehydrated. After that, we went to take our breakfast which was nasi lemak. It LOOKED nice. But.. I'm not gonna say anything about it. I'm just glad that I got to EAT. After that, I went and take my bag. Then, started to prepare for jungle trekking. Before that, we took a group picture of all the campers and teachers. Then, they started warming up. And some of them were like stuffing their lower part of their pants into the socks in order to not let leeches suck their blood. LOL. Then, after that, they felt like nobody was doing that so they quickly took them off. Then, we started our journey. The hill was like -__-"
But, overall it was kinda okay. If you asked me if I wanna go back there again for jungle trekking, that will be a YES. But, unfortunately, I found a leech when I started to check if there were leeches on my leg. And I went around screaming "AHHHHHHH!!!!LEECHHHHH!!!" That was the worst part of the whole thing. And one more thing! My Nike was covered with MUD. Before the muddy place, everybody were with their awesome branded shoes. After crossing the muddy place, everybody's shoes were the same. MUDDY. So, after the jungle trekking, we had some time to rest. Like about 1 hour. Then, I went to wash my shoes. DUH. Washed my face. Like freshen up a bit. Then packed a lil' bit more. I was kinda sad at that time as I was gonna leave that awesome place with lots of memories in another 2 more hours. After that, we went to the old hall that had only ONE wall fan for the closing ceremony. Me and Meh was the MC. Well, at first I was not scared. But, I accidentally pronounced the First Solar's guy's name wrongly. From the word 'Lin' to 'Chin'. I was like "Now, I would like to call upon Mr. Abdullah Chin to give away the prizes" Then, suddenly, all of the campers were like "haa? haa?" With their confused faces. Then, Meh elbowed me and said "Dei, it's Abdullah Lin laaa!" Luckily he did not hear what I said. Thank God. From that moment onwards, I started to feel nervous. Don't know why. Then, my team was awarded with 2 prizes. We got 1st for the poem recitation. And 3rd for Ice Breaking. haha. Then, we went up to have our last lunch there, I was even sad that time. I can't believe a day just passed by THAT fast. And I'm about to go back home and leave that awesome place. Then, I ate some rambutans and something that will make this trip of mine incomplete if I didn't take that, DURIANNSSS! OMG. I simply LOVE them. I took 3 of the light yellow ones. When I was like, okay that's enough. They opened a dark yellow durian which is SWEET. Stupid me. Then, I went back to my dorm and packed everything up and took out my bags. And had to walk ALL the way back to the place where we came in at first. We had to walk with our HEAVY bags this time. Then, finally reached the front gate. And we had to wait for 1 of the dorm leaders are left behind so she haven't give the key yet. Then, finally she came. And we had to wait for like 15-20 minutes for the school bus to come. FINALLY the bus came. We were like barbecued because of the super hot weather. Then, I asked Meh to take a place first and I helped her to put her bags. Then, she went up and I was suffering stuffing our bags there. She found a not-so-bad spot. Then, the bus was super quiet on that day. Me and Meh were listening to songs. Yeah. And started dancing with the Pray song by JB. Then, my phone battery was running low so I decided to stop. Then, me and Rishan started to play pukul tangan. We have to hold hands. And play scissors, paper, stone. The one who lose, have to beat the person's hand. Then, the whole bus started playing. Then, we started to stand up and go all over the bus to play with the others too. After the spirit of the game, gotten into us, we don't even care if it's a girl or a boy, just keep on playing. Hold hands? Just hold laa. The spirit is there. And I played like MAD. Too bad we started playing a little too late. Not long after we started playing. Like around less than 1 hour, we were already in hi-tech park. DAMN IT. So, we were like. "okay, I'll play with you in school tomorrow >:D" Awesome. Then, we reached school. My awesome journey just ended like that. That was the best English Camp ever that I will NEVER forget. I hope to go again next year. You guys gave me the sweetest memories I'll never forget and I'll cherish it forever : ) That's all for this time, Byee : )
